Terms and Conditions
OA IT Solution · Rebar platform · Last updated: July 2026
§ 1 Scope and Provider
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Rebar platform (available at myrebar.app and as a mobile app), operated by OA IT Solution, Omid Amini, Germany (the "Provider").
Conflicting or deviating terms of the user are not recognised unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity.
§ 2 Description of Services
Rebar is a multilingual platform for the Kurdish community and comprises two products: a business directory and the reference work Rebar Ferheng. The Provider offers the following services:
- Free search and viewing of business listings
- Free registration and creation of a basic listing
- Paid premium membership as a software subscription (verified profile, in-app management, analytics, photo gallery, multi-location management) — as an in-app purchase via the App Store or Google Play
- Rating and review function for registered users
- Free use of the reference work Rebar Ferheng, exclusively within the app
The platform is in its build-up phase. The availability and scope of functions may change.
§ 2a Appointment Booking and Catalogue
Businesses on the relevant plan may offer a booking system and a catalogue or menu. The booking system serves exclusively for appointment management. The Provider acts merely as a technical intermediary and does not become a party to the appointment or service relationship formed between the user and the business.
No payment is processed through the booking system; any remuneration is settled solely and directly between the user and the business on site. The respective business alone is responsible for the conclusion, performance and honouring of appointments as well as for the accuracy of catalogue and price information. The Provider assumes no liability for missed, delayed or unfulfilled appointments or for the services and prices shown in the catalogue.
§ 2b Rebar Ferheng (Reference Work)
Rebar Ferheng is a free reference work and is available exclusively within the app. Its use requires neither an account nor a paid membership. There is no entitlement to permanent availability, to any particular scope, or to the continued presence of individual content.
The content is compiled from third-party lexicographic sources and presented in processed form. The Provider gives no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of entries, meanings, spellings or name information. Information on the origin and meaning of first names constitutes linguistic guidance and is not official or binding advice.
The reference work is no substitute for professional translation or advice. It must not be used as the sole basis in contexts where an incorrect translation may lead to legal, medical or financial disadvantage, in particular before public authorities, in court, in medical settings or in contracts. The Provider is not liable for damages arising from such use.
Systematic extraction, reproduction or redistribution of the content, in particular by automated queries, is prohibited. Use is limited to personal use within the app.
§ 3 Registration and User Account
Registration is open to natural persons aged 16 and over as well as to businesses. By registering, the user agrees to these Terms.
The user is obliged to provide truthful and complete information upon registration and to keep it up to date. Login credentials must be kept confidential.
The Provider reserves the right to block or delete accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms or the provision of false information.
§ 4 User Obligations and Prohibited Content
The user undertakes not to publish any content on the platform that:
- is unlawful, offensive, racist or discriminatory,
- infringes copyrights or other protective rights of third parties,
- contains misleading or false business information,
- constitutes political propaganda or hate speech,
- contains spam, unmarked advertising or malware.
The Provider reserves the right to remove unlawful content or content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
§ 4a User-Generated Content – Zero Tolerance, Reporting and 24-Hour Action
The platform contains user-generated content (in particular reviews, comments and listings). A zero-tolerance policy applies to objectionable, abusive or unlawful content as well as to abusive behaviour. By using the platform, the user accepts these terms for user-generated content as a binding End User License Agreement (EULA).
- Reporting: Every review and listing can be flagged directly in the app via the “Report” function.
- Blocking: Users can block other users; the blocked user's content is then no longer shown to them.
- 24-hour action: Reported content is reviewed and, where it violates these Terms, removed within 24 hours. The responsible user may be suspended and, for repeated or serious violations, their account permanently removed.
Reports may also be sent at any time to itsolutionoa@gmail.com.
§ 5 Paid Services and Payment Terms
Premium services (annual subscriptions) are offered at the current prices shown for guidance on our pricing page and bindingly displayed in the respective store (Apple App Store or Google Play). The prices shown in the store include applicable VAT/GST, which the store, as Merchant of Record, calculates and remits based on the customer's country.
Paid subscriptions are purchased exclusively as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Depending on the platform, the Merchant of Record and contracting party for the checkout is Apple Distribution International Ltd. or Google Commerce Limited. The respective store handles the payment, issues the invoice/receipt and remits the applicable sales tax/VAT in each country. The Apple Media Services Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service additionally apply.
Subscriptions have a term of 12 months and renew automatically for further 12-month periods unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the term. Cancellation is possible via the user account or by email to itsolutionoa@gmail.com. Our Refund Policy applies to refunds.
§ 6 Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. For digital content provided immediately (e.g. instant premium activation), the right of withdrawal expires with the user's express consent to immediate commencement and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of this right.
Sample withdrawal form: If you wish to withdraw from the contract, send an email to itsolutionoa@gmail.com with the subject "Withdrawal" and your contact details as well as the date of conclusion of the contract.
§ 7 Copyright and Licences
By publishing content (texts, photos, logos), the user grants the Provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, display and distribute it within the scope of operating the platform.
The user warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the uploaded content and do not infringe the rights of third parties.
§ 8 Limitation of Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
In the case of simple negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) and only up to the amount of the typically foreseeable damage.
The Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of business listings created by third parties.
The optional AI assistant “Rebar AI” generates answers automatically and serves only as non-binding orientation. Answers may be inaccurate or incomplete and do not constitute legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. The original listings and the information provided by the respective businesses always prevail. Liability for decisions based on AI answers is excluded, except in cases of intent and gross negligence.
§ 9 Availability of the Platform
The Provider strives for high availability but gives no guarantee of uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where possible.
§ 10 Termination and Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time without giving reasons. Deletion is carried out via the account settings or by email. Data is permanently deleted within 30 days unless statutory retention obligations apply.
The Provider may block users without notice for good cause (e.g. breach of these Terms).
§ 11 Changes to the Terms
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms with at least 30 days' notice. Registered users will be informed by email. If the user does not object within 30 days of receipt of the notice of change, the new Terms are deemed accepted. The right to object and the consequences of silence will be specifically pointed out in the notice.
§ 12 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes with merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law is the registered office of the Provider.
For consumers, the law of the EU Member State in which they have their habitual residence applies.
§ 13 Data Protection and Cookies
The processing of personal data and the use of cookies and comparable technologies are governed exclusively by our Privacy Policy. The website currently uses only technically necessary storage; non-essential services are activated only after your explicit consent via the cookie notice.
