This page explains how to delete your Rebar account and the associated data. Rebar is the Kurdish platform with two products, the business directory and the reference work Rebar Ferheng, operated by OA IT Solution, Germany.

1. Delete your account inside the app

The fastest way, deletion happens immediately:

  1. Open the Rebar app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email itsolutionoa@gmail.com with the subject “Delete account” and the email address you registered with. We process the request within 30 days and confirm the deletion.

3. What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

  • Your profile and sign-in details (name, email address)
  • Business listings you created
  • Your reviews and uploaded photos
  • Your bookmarks and app settings
  • Location-based search history

Rebar Ferheng requires no account. No personal data is stored for use of the reference work, so there is nothing to delete there.

4. Data we are required to retain

For legal reasons (e.g. tax and commercial record-keeping obligations), invoices and payment records for paid subscriptions may be retained for the legally required period (typically up to 10 years). These records are managed by the respective store (Apple or Google) as Merchant of Record and are not used for any other purpose. All other personal data is fully deleted.
